No, torture is never justifiable. In real life and in experimental situation people can be confronted with ethical dilemmas. Moreover torture is illegal and undermines Human Rights and human dignities. Torture is the process of inflicting pain upon other people in order to force them to say something against their own will. From moral standpoint torture is wrong and unacceptable. Many religious people are against this act of violence because they see it as a violation of the dignity of human being.

From legal point of view, torture is also illegal under any circumstances.
