How should society deal with mental health and safety in the community; are there things you feel we could do better legally, socially, or both?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Our society should deal with mental health and safety in the community by; increasing the prevention, treatment, and recovery services. Widening the Use of Health Information Technology such as; electronic health records, telepsychiatry, self-care applications, on-line psychotherapies, etc. Educating the people about it and investing in research. Thus things can be better done legally and socially by framing laws to protect the patients and give them exemptions due to their medical condition and improving their condition through treatment and prevention.
