For an addiction agency that treats through group or individual settings Navigate to the threaded discussion and respond to the following prompts: What have you found to be effective in developing rapport when you engage with clients? How do you know when you’ve engaged the client and they are ready to move on to the next step of the planned change process? What types of assessments have you been involved in at your agency or seen used at your agency? What is your level of comfort and familiarity with the assessment process? Remember that assessment is ongoing and not limited to initial or intake assessments. Are interventions tailored to diverse clients at your agency? If so, provide some examples. If not, how do you think they should be tailored? What types of formal and informal evaluations are done at your field agency to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions and provided services? Does your agency modify its strategies based on the results of the evaluations? What evaluation tools does your agency use and/or what tools would you suggest your agency employ for evaluation? How do the four stages of the planned change process relate to each other and build on the work that has been done at each previous stage?
1) When it comes to building rapport with clients, being clear about our expectations and knowing client's expectations is important. Being honest and open works for me too.
2) We can know whether the client is ready to move ahead by asking questions and checking the client's knowledge. We can also keep a written/oral test for the same.
3) When it comes to assessments, it is different for different settings. For example, if it's a educational agency like school or institute, assessment will be based on teaching skills, demo lecrulec, tests like g.k, ethics, logical reasoning etc are important here. Personality tests and psychometric tests are too being used at workplaces nowadays.
4) I am familiar with tests like 16pf, DBDA, career preference, emotional intelligence tests.
5) Interventions at my place happens to yes differentiate clients, knowing their abilities and skills more.
