Reformist environmentalism suggests that communities should use the present resources efficiently to their needs without compromising on the needs of the future generations. This concept also refers to the sustainable development by using the resources available responsibly. If we keep depleting the resources from earth which could otherwise be collected from more renewable resources such as solar energy instead of other energy resources that not only reduces the resources but also pollute the environment. Using electric vehicles instead of petrol and diesel vehicles and finally avoiding plastics are few steps.

Old fashion dualism refers to the dividing of genders as man and women where on is oppressed by the other. Women are considered as weak and secondary citizens by men and they were not given their rights such as education, property, voting rights, right to manage their body, right to pregnancy and abortion etc. were the results of more struggle which were not available to women earlier.

Dominant paradigm refers to the life of people in a community in a given time period which is shaped by the cultural influence. The behaviors, attitudes and way of life is largely influenced by the political, economic and social scenarios of that time. Life yesterday is not as same as today. It’s changed by many factors. People lived in utter poverty and fear during the World Wars but now, most of the people in the country are living a decent life. The initial periods of the United States were marked by uncertainty, war, slavery etc. but today it's changed.
