A) Based on your own experience (job, school, organization), please provide one example of a "norm." How was this norm communicated and enforced? What purpose did it serve?

B) Based on your experience of working as a part of a virtual team (in this class or in other contexts), give two examples of advantages of virtual teamwork. Give t wo examples of challenges specific for virtual team collaboration.

I remember having a strange norm that I felt like I had to follow when I was in high school. I had to prevent repeating wearing the same clothes as much as I can. Although this was never explicitly communicated to me, I was a part of several conversations in which others who wore the same set of clothes all too often were judged and remarked upon. I therefore used to feel pressured myself to repeat my clothes after a long duration of time. Perhaps this norm was reflective on an individual’s sense of style and socioeconomic status in general.
