1) The resources may not provide sufficiently critical information required to have a thoughtful review.

2) There might be confusion while discriminating relevant and irrelevant information.

3) There might be lack of clear organisational structure or mind map to address the problem statement.

4) There might be exclusion of landmark studies and inclusion of only relevant studies.

5) Sometimes a literature piece might be relevant, but out of date. Considering such literature would be just waste of time.

6) Tilting towards a parochial perspective and limiting the reviews to a particular country or search engine might give the review a very narrow outlook.
