Though books and schools are synonymous, the variety of books present can be divided into age appropriate books. Perhaps a book can be banned from schools when they thoughts portrayed in the book are anti-social or promote anti-social elements into the child's life. Books that contain information that are not appropriate for the school going age should be banned. Also, books that contain information that could be dangerous such as how to make weapons at home should be banned as well. A child's mental development is highly influenced by the books they read and the world around them. Children in the present age are being exposed to a variety of things which are not appropriate for them. The school has a responsibility to monitor the information a child is being exposed to in their school premises and to take the appropriate action towards these activities.
