electric charge is property by which a it experince a force in electromagnetic field.

e.g. when we rub a comb with hairs, due to rubbing some charge is tranfered from comb to hairs so both get some charge. one get positive charge and one get negative charge.

electric field is region around a charge in which any other test charge experince a force. so by virtue of this filed, force at a distanace happens.

e.g. now we tale some pieces of paper and we keep that charged comb near to paper pieces. now due to field of charge on comb, paper piece feel force and it get attracted to comb.,
