Hydrology concerned with earth water. It include study of surface water, underground water and marine water. Using Wein displacement law      we can find temperature of water. For this we need emission spectra of water (peak wavelength of spectra). Now using temperature and Stephen Boltzmann law we can calculate enrgy radiated by earth water to space. This calculation is helpful in heat transfer of engine and solar power generation.
