Can you show me how to calculate the Cp (heat capacity at constant volume) of air at 22.5 degrees Celsius? Not just give the Cp, but show how you worked it out at that temperature.

By this I mean using a Heat Capacity Table for air, ie A+BT+CT^2 etc. So the answer of Cp should be a number.

You are sitting in a gymnasium watching your local high school basketball team. Assume there are 450 people in the gym. If the gym has (constant) dimensions 50m long, 45m wide, 12m tall, find the following: a) The number of air particles in the gym (mass of single air particle is 4.8x10-26 kg, density of air is 1.3 kg/m3), assuming none leak out from the walls/doors/etc. b) The number of moles of air in the gym. c) The total heat...

3mL of ethonal is added to a 125mL Erlenmeyer flask with a stopper Calculate the preasure of just the air in the flask. The volume and number of moles air stays constant. Please just show how to do one calculation so I can so the rest on my own. Please and thank you. You fill an ice tray with water at 25 degree celsius and place it into the freezer. Each cube has a volume of 30 mililiters (a mass of 30 g). Assume that heat is transferred from the water in each cube in the ice cube tray to the surrounding cold air in the freezer at a constant rate of 40 J/min. You can consider that the water (whether liquid or solid) in each cube is at uniform temperature. You can...

Could you please show me the steps on how you did this? I claim that more than 70% of my students pass my class. You do not believe me, so you do a records request to the college and find out that 85 out of 125 of my students passed my class last semester. Test at the 0.01 level of significance that my proportion of passing students is not really 70%. Thank you!

An air gun fires a bullet by means of compressed air. Simplistically, an air gun can be viewed as a metal cylindrical tube open on one end and plugged air-tight in the middle by the bullet, which is held in place by a trigger. The space between the bullet and the blind end is filled with compressed air. When the trigger is released, the compressed air undergoes a sudden expansion against ambient pressure, pushing the bullet out of the tube...

You are in a hot-air balloon that ascends at a constant velocity of 2.75 m/s for 10 minutes. Your combined mass, you, the balloon and all of the balloon’s hardware, is 1350 kg. How much work is done against gravity during this ascent? What is the change in the gravitational potential energy of the hot-air balloon system? If you drop an object out of the balloon at rest with respect to the balloon, at what speed will it just strike...
