Any operation in Oil and Gas industry is hazardous if we dont take proper safety measures. In The final stage of well completion which involves running in the perforating guns, a string of shaped charges, down to the desired depth and firing them to perforating the casing. A typical perforating gun can carry many dozens of explosive charges. Carrying explosive charge to a well filled with flammable oil is a very hazardous. It may also cause formation and casing fracture, which may cause sudden kick in the casing annuals due to high intensity gun fire.
