Dscribe each probability sample type, and non-probability sample types
Probability Sample types:
A. Simple Random Sample: Put all the n number of people who fall under the purview of the study and do a simple random
B. Stratified Random Sample: Put all the n number of people who fall under the purview of the study, divide them into groups so all groups are represented in the study and then use random sampling on each group
C. Multistage Sampling: Using multiple methods of sampling in different stages is called multistage sampling,
D. Cluster Sampling: Put all n people who fall under the purview of the study, form clusters of people based on location, then choose cluters to conduct the study in. Conduct random sampling within these clusters
Non-Probability Sample types:
a. Quota Sampling: Where groups in sample are found to be proportional to the groups in the population.
b. Snowball Sample: Used in cases where samples are hard to get, example cancer patients. You find one sample, then find the rest through referrals through that one sample
c. Convenience Sample: Based on ease of getting, useful budget is a constraint
d. Judgement Sample: Based on expert judgement, in cases where expertise is required for being in the sample.
e. Expert sampling: iF experts on a particular subject are requried for the test
