NO PLAGIARISM ACCEPTED IN THE ANSWER.
Probability sample, also known as random sample, is generated via random sampling. The members of the population have a known and fixed probability of getting selected in the random sample. For conclusive research random samples are used so that the results are unbaised since all members of the population have an equal probability of getting selected in the sample.
Non-probability sample is an arbitrarily selected sample. All members of the population do not have equal chance of getting selected in the sample. The probabilities are not known. Such samples tend to give baised results and are not used for conclusive analysis.
