Actually it was baby furniture producing company but later after demand it started manufacturing toys for the toddler and older children. It was named Toys r us in 1957. It have around 750 international stores and 250 are licensed stores. Toys are us has wide range of merchandise in market which have global reach and present in almost every country. Company have the best and widest supply network through which it supply its product of every corner of the world. Company’s one of the unique point is that it have toys for differently abled kids which is something different from its competitors. Company faces lots of competition in retails market since there are many toys manufactures like mettle, Hasbro, Disney and many more. Since digital marketing and introduction of e-commerce has also affected the company though company have its online store and website as well. Retail business is dominating for toys industry. The company has not more unique things in industry which make them vulnerable in market among rivals.
