I believe that the most difficult item for an employer to negotiate is the Salary and designation of an employee because in this case the employee actually becomes very much careful because they feel that they will gain only the salary and the designation will help them in their work. Designation is actually the position that the individual holds in the organization and while hiring experienced professionals salary and designation becomes a concern for the employee. In case of fresher hiring this is not at all an issue because the employee takes almost whatever is offered. The employer also has to negotiate because they need to utilize the employee at the lowest possible cost and in such negotiations both the stakeholders have to feel that they are in a win win situation and only then this negotiation can be successful.
