What challenges seem the most difficult in leadership, and why? How do you envision yourself rising to the demands of these types of challenges and/or crises?

Being a leader is not a very easy in this challenging time and just because you are a leader in any organization it does not mean that the floor won't drop around you. So there are some challenges you may have to face being a leader

People with different mindset:- There will be surely few people in your team or in your organization who are difficult to handle because of their different mind set according your working or leadership style. Being a leader you will have to accept them and need to handle them with grace and kindness and you will have to keep your position above them all and never let them to get you down. Dealing with such people is very difficult when you are a leader because such people can harm your working style by creating a negativity among the team and also they can influence other team mates also so you have to take care of this and due to this leadership is not a easy skill.

Work Pressure:- The work environment has a lot of pressure built into it. Being a leader you have to learn to accept and release some of that pressure which will benefit you in the long run. This is really difficult to handle the pressure when you are a leader because with the handling of work pressure you have to give the output also which is expected from a you as a leader. Sometime you feel really bad while working in such environment and you need to have self motivated to come out of this. So this is also a reason that leadership is not easy.

Staying Motivated:- Often it has noticed that as a leader you can feel motivation for the work/task you have been assigned as leader falling flat, which generally happens to all but you need keep yourself and your team motivated to come out of it and come on the right track of work. This is again a challenge in leadership because you cant act always a best cheerleader in your own mind especially when your team is expecting you to be so get out there and share the enthusiasm you have even when you yourself are not in mood of doing so.

Deliver Bad News:- When you are a leader so you have deliver all the bad news within your team because it is not sure that the project you are working will run according to your planning 100% or as you were thinking initially so there will surly be some bad news which you have to deliver to your team considering that your team should remain energetic as earlier, because bad news for any team working for a important project can impact the productivity and can change your track of being success for that particular task or goal. Thus this is again a problem for leader to manage this effectively.

Being good to everyone:- As a leader you are not always going to be liked by each and everyone. The minute you put your hand to lead something someone else is going to pull you back. So you will have to be take care of it and you need to be kind and focused in your communication. Respect will come if you are lucky becasue you cant change the mindset about you of the people who have such thinking about you. So you have to deal with it smartly and need to give more attention that you might be liked. In being leader this has become very difficult or you can say that this the toughest part of a leader's life cause sometime you dont know that what action has gone wrong in this and how someone is going to react, thus being leader is not easy at all.

Let Someone go:- At some point when you are a leader you will have to recommend that someone has to leave your team or organization no matter how other team member will think about it and what impact will arise due to this among the team but wisely you will have to take such decision and for the sake of yourself and the project you are working for as a leader. Being leader is not easy because you will have manage it very calmly you should never do it in a rash manner or under anger. your ability to calmly make this change for the betterment of the project and this is the mark of true leadership.

As we have seen that leadership is not a easy skill and sometime you face huge problems when you are a leader so there are few ideas which can be really helpful to deal with leadership challenges.

Develop style of leading. No one in this world is perfect and no one has born a leader, so you should spend time to learning the new skills of leadership as much as possible. Also you need to work on yourself, find someone who were a good leader and discuss your issues with him . Doing yourself in this way will help you to keep ready for any kind of leadership challenge.

Learn from experience;- You need to think strategically about how you can gain the experience you need. Need to practice observing situations from different perspectives and learn from everything you do .

Don't think about failure:- Unless you're not trying at all, you will almost certainly fail, maybe more than once. The important thing is to learn how to take responsibility for your failures, extract their lessons, and change directions while still moving forward.

Enhance you people management skills:-Best leaders have great interpersonal skills. They care for their people. As a leader, you need to know how to listen quietly and hear what people are really saying, by asking questions and being open to the truth. When challenges come, it's especially important to open up and show you care.

Self Motivate:-Your commitment is a model for others. If people can see that you are working hard toward attaining a goal, they will join you. Learn to tap into the motivation that gives you energy and passion, so in turn you can inspire others through difficult times.

Inspire Others:-Inspiration is empowering; when you inspire people, you also give them a sense of purpose. When you lead by example and people feel inspired by who you are, it empowers them to be more effective and productive.

Most important thing take care of yourself , if you will take care of yourself it will help you in challenging time but if you neglect yourself you will soon be overwhelmed by the pressure. Do everything that keeps you sharp and healthy and remind yourself that whatever you are doing as a leader is valuable, no matter what other says about your work.
