In my opinion, in case of the hotel industry, while implementing TQM, the most important area is the training provided to the hotel staff. There must be a regular and consistent training program. This will help the staff to understand and perform as per the expectation s of the management and guests. As hotel industry is a dynamic industry and each new day new services and facility are added, thus there will be a great many things to be learned by the staff. This can easily be done with the help of proper and continuous training. I would like to conduct an annual grand training session in which I would invite the experts of the industry to share their views and impart the latest knowledge to the employees.
