The major findings in American airlines value chain analysis are the airline industry of US is one of the busiest one among world because of the number of passengers and operating fleet. The major areas of value proposition are flight route analysis where intelligent operations and strategical thought process is required to maximise yield, schedule flights, allocating proper timing for managing air traffic etc .another areas is communication which includes customer service, marketing and public offerings, ticket selling strategies. Pricing is another important value based area which directly create impact over the revenue . The principles of differential pricing is effectively used in this industry. Pilot and other cabin crews technical plus customer service training is also very critical.Baggage training and handling is another area where customer satisfaction is very critical and how to manage the in-house logistics effectively.
