Objective analysis of following theoritical models-

a- Rational Model-

the objective analysis of this model is to provide logical & rational decisions. this model is very important in the matter like  planning and designing neighborhoods, cities, and regions. this model is becoming the key objective for the development of modern urban planning and transportation planning.

b- Revised Garbage Can Model-

as the name suggest, this model considers the problems, solutions or participants in the decision making are disconnected & there are no rules to make any decisions. this quite opposite of the traditional rational decision making process.

the objective analysis of this model is to get the decision in random manner without any logic or rational.

c- Participatory Model-

the objective analysis of this model is to use the participation of the people in the organization to provide knowledge, skills, experinece to the models in the decision making.he participants co-formulate the problem and use modeling practices to aid in the description, solution, and decision-making actions of the group.

d- Political Model-

the objective analysis of this model is that people are considered as independent rationale being who can make thier own decisions for thier welfare but there is another aspects where governement considers the whole system as a single unit & role of government in a market economy is that the government is attempting to maximise social welfare to provide a legal, regulatory and institutional framework.

e- Dysfunctions in Decision-Making-

decision making is not easy if it is involving a group for the process. there are many dsyfuctions occurs in decision making in group like conflicts, dominancy, loss of objectives etc.

the objective analysis of this model is to consider the dysfubctions & try to remove them for better decision making process.

by studying above model theories, the rational model  serving as the guiding force in public sector decision making because this process integrates logic & rational in decision making that is why it is used in many big public projects like construction, design of cities etc.

analysis of the group think model-

the objective of group think model is to remove tha conflicts from the group & integrate the harmony or conformity in the group results so that decision making can be rational.

this situation occurs when people have difference of opinion or interesr which can removed by hearing all the aspects of the participants & come to a common grounds by considering all the opinions on the decisions.
