Clarify and discuss the concept of “Universal Design” and why such a system would be advantageous to any transportation system.

The main aim of universal design is design of a product must be for all kinds of people and must not be only for one group or for one section of people. When the product is usable and helpful to all sections of the society then the product is said to have universal design . When a product is of universal design it will have more business as everyone will use it and hence it is profitable. If we consider transportation system , when the system is accessable to all kinds of people , revenue from it will be more and the system will function in all the seasons . Hence having universal design is much advantageous to transportation.
