Some of the factors allowed Sega to break Nintendo’s monopoly of the US video game console market in the late 1980s are , such as – because of the enhanced feature and huge 16-bit system, everyone wanted to use it and the compatibility with the existing 8-bit system so that the consumer who owns the older system games can also play on the newer system.
