Answer #1

The impact that the transportation sector has on emissions and climate change is creating air pollution and contributing to global warming through the emission of carbon dioxide in the air.

The transportation sector consists of companies that provide services of moving people or goods, and transportation infrastructure from one place to another. It is a sub-category of the industrial sector that help s in moving goods and people. The transportation sector generates the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to global warming. These gases come from burning fossil fuel for our cars, trucks, ships, trains, and planes, and many more.

Possible solutions that could remedy or reduce the impact are:

  • driving a fuel-efficient vehicle only that helps in releasing the emission of harmful gases.
  • reducing the speed and unnecessary acceleration of the vehicle
  • the weight on the vehicle must not be overloaded
