In today's highly competitive marketplace, how does a rewarding system change employee attitudes, emotions, and motivation? Does a high reward always create a positive attitude and motivation? Why or why not?

Ans. A rewarding system change employees attitutes. emotions and motivation both in positive and negative manner depending upon employees preferences.

If an employees likes rewarding system then there is a positive change because of certain advanatges of efficient reward system in the organisation which rewards an employee based on his/her performance.

The advantages/positive changes are as follows:

1. It help to increase the employee motivation to increase his/her performance and boosts up the morale which in turn increase the involvement of employees into his/her role and responsibilities.

2. Positive change in employee attitude will increase the feeling of job security in the mind of the employees and they will tend to stay associated with the organisation for a longer period of time.

3. The Employee absenteesim is reduced as they feel more motivated to do work with higher efficiency which ultimately results in higher productivity.

So. we can conc,ude that high reward always create a positive attitude and movitation

4. A good rewardb system also cover certain benefits which cover the employee's family benefits also for which the employee feel secure in the organisation .

NEGATIVE CHANGES

There are certain negative changes in attitude of employee which are caused due to ineffeicient reward system.which are mentioned below:

1. The rewards are generally for short terrm period and employees do not get them overe a long period of time. This demoralizes the employees and he or she looses interest in the job over a long period of time.

2.Rewards are performance based also so some employees are able to achieve them and some not due to this morale of employees get down and they are not able to cope up with their efficient performance.

3. In some organisations favouritism also exits which lead to biasness among the employees. The higher authority give more rewards to their favourite employees because of which the employyes looses interest in the job.
