Answer) A cross - functional team means a team which has people from different functional departments such as finance, marketing, sales etc. A cross functional team is significantly important in an organisation as it bring people together from different culture irrespective of their departments and thus form a diverse culture in a company.By this communication is improved and new ideas innovate rather than just having a monotonous culture. Another important point in significance is that as Different Field experts work together , everyone has something new to learn and understand. They learn new skillsets and techniques whicb could be helpful for them to do their job better and thus having an impact in the overall productivity.
