Disciplinary team has individuals with the same education or training while interdisciplinary team has individuals who ith different education or training and cross functional team is similar to the interdisciplinary team and has individuals from both clinical and non-clinical area.

All the teams have collaborative focus on patient care but difference can be of the membership because team membership may of the same discipline, several different discipline or both clinical and non clinical representatives.
