What does "Independent External organization " mean, and how is its structure?

Independent External organization

Independent external organization means there are some other organizations those are external to the university or main organization. All such external organizations could be independent to serve the business purpose of the University. University could connect to ranking or granting bodies. Here, such ranking or granting bodies will operate independently; they will evaluate the current university based on various factors like infrastructure, study faculty, placement, research works conducted, other facilities for academic and non academic activities, hostel and teachers’ enclave, etc. External organization will perform all the evaluation fully independent way. So, such Granting bodies that would have legal identity and will work as independent external organization,

Organizational structure of such external organization could be varied but usually Flat type or flatarchy model or structure usually followed, as, such external organizations are associated with research and innovative and scientific works. Here, people those are performing or conducting the tasks, they must have strong expertise in the relevant domain. So, organizational people are distributed flat way, they are given empowerment to take their role with confidence and they are usually well trained to conduct the research and scientific works.
