Sustainability Strategies refer to the social, economical, environmental & ethical issues that are part of an organization's relationships with society. Some of the organizations term it as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities). The development of sustainability strategies by an organization goes through various stages as depicted here: Vision, Mission, Values ----> Identify the issues that matter most -----> Prioritize Effectively ----> Targets and KRA/KPIs ------> Implementation. The use of materiality(High Impact, High Interest Issues for Business) generally leads the organization towards prioritized issues that can be included in the strategies. The strategies are a set of agreed/prioritized issues that need to be worked upon by the organization in the short term, medium and long term perspective.

Apostle Construction Enterprises can use community outreach as one of the issues that matter most and devise the steps to be taken to generate better community involvement in the short term period. An example of such short term goal would be to build a medical center in the community and arrange for regular service of doctors and nurses at an affordable/zero cost to the residents of the community. This would for sure increase trust and respect for Apostle Construction Enterprises and will ultimately positively impact the top line of the company in way of better revenues.
