Paragraph One
There are two kinds of job analysis used by human resources experts: First, there are job- or task-oriented analysis, and second, there are worker- or employee-oriented analysis. Job analysis just describes the tasks that need to be accomplished by a worker. For example, heart surgeons need to be able to operate on patients in order to carry out their jobs. In contrast, employee-orientated job descriptions need to describe knowledge, skills, and abilities the employee must have to get the job done. For example, surgeons need to understand the different types of blood vessels in the heart in order to be successful. Most job analysis include elements of both job-orientated and employee-oriented types.
