I believe having a diverse workforce is very valuable,as diversity is much needed in today's world. When in business you have people to be able to meet all needs which may require language, nationality, socioeconomic status, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Is it a challenge for human resource managers yes.Having to learn and understand everyone's background and coming to an understanding with what works best for everyone to work together.I believe these challenges are overcome by open door policies and communication. If you are interviewing probably and knowing your teams weak and strong needs you are able to bring in the right fit to make everything balance in the work place.I also believe open door leaves room for employees and employers to discuss things properly without confrontation and understanding core values.

The world has moved to be a Global village. This has gained further momentum due to the rapid advancements in technology worldwide. The businesses have thus spread its wings globally, needing either its employees to set up an entity altogether in the host nations or to avail the services by outsourcing the same to the Host country or by recruiting the local employees of such a country. In all these cases, there is a constant cultural exchange between the nations. Diversity is thus given way in the Organizations. Its significance is comprehended well by various Business houses that are engaged in International or Global businesses and trade. Besides, it is not only the cultural diversity that is important in an Organization, to survive in the competition, the diversity in terms of socioeconomic status, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is equally necessary because it helps to compensates the weaknesses of one group with the strengths of that of that of the other, thereby helping to establish a healthy atmosphere for organizational growth and progress. The process is complex because it has to take into consideration a wide range of aspects such as nationality, gender, age, etc. Hence, for Human resources, it is a challenging affair to formulate polices that cater to these requirements. However, when open door policies are formulated, it aids in balancing the diversity at the workplaces as it encourages the flow of communication in all directions, thereby ensuring that all the parties in the Organization are given fair chance to be heard and their views to be respected. This further ensures that the organizational members develop an open mind and do not rush in judging an employing hailing from a certain culture or background.
