A. Added sugars are the sugar carbohydrates that are added to food and beverages during the time of production. These sugars are chemically differ from naturally occurring sugars. It has little nutritional value also.

B. As per diatery guidelines added sugars should not be more than 10% of the daily calories. ie for a 2000 calorie diet,the contribution from added sugars should not be more than 200 calories.

C. Source of protein other than beef and chicken include

#. Sea food

#. Milk, cheese and yogurt.

#. Eggs

#. Beans

#. soy.

D. Child bearing or pregnant or pregnant women need more amount of protein, folate,iodine and iron. Vitamin B12 and vitayD are also important as they are needed for baby's nervous system and skeletal system.
