  3. Check the urine concentration of patient from urine sample
  4. Give oral rehydration solution.
  5. Always check whether patient has CNS symptoms like seizures, muscle twitching etc..
  6. Promote the intake of diet rich in electrolytes which are deficient
  7. Monitor central venous pressure and vital signs
  8. Auscultate lung and heart sounds
  9. Asses the location of edema formation
  10. Encourage adequate bed rest
