Alternative system of medicine is used in conjunction with standard medical treatments such as meditation, yoga, diet etc. It is usually not recognized by the medical professionals as standard treatment modalities. Especially for patients with respiratory problems were of benefitted using alternative therapies like meditation. It will help the patient to adhere the treatment modalities better with improvement in quality of life and with reduction of exacerbations and hospitalizations.
