The development of an effective curriculum is a multi-step, ongoing and cyclic process. The process progress form evaluating the existing programs to the development and design of an improved program, implementattion and back to evaluation of the revised program. So the suitable timeframe for curriculum revision is during the devlopment of a new curriculum

To be effective and enduring any program of reorganization must be planned carefully and executed smoothly. Changing the curricula means changing the people-pupils,patrons,teachers and administrators. It can be accomplished only on an organized and co-operative basis

A thorough study should be made of the existing curriculum, the student , the staff, the community and other areas and factors pertinent to the school and its present educational services and the needs to be met
