Cholinergic drugs are used to treat glucoma and myasthenia gravis. Cholinergic agents also affects part of brain that is used in learning,short term memory, reward,and arousal. These are also helpful in autism spectrum disorder , improve mood , speech , and behaviour. In children overactive bladder syndrome is an most common dysfunction that is due to urinary urgency and increased voiding frequency.these are the drugs which are helpful to prevent such type of abnormalities.

Before administration of cholinergic drugs to avoid from adverse effect check contraindications and caution that helps to treat as well.oral drugs should be administered on empty that prevents from nausea and vomiting.on stand-by use an cholinergic blocking agent also.

In case of excessive salivation, diarrhoea ,frequent urination, emesis we have to discontinue drug as soon as possible.
