The legal and ethical issue observed is about the consent form,the consent form is concluded as a permission granted and and informed consent for the treatment to be legal.in thise scenario the parents of a 15 year old child are not informed about the care and counselling to be given for patient.

2.The nurse role is to act as a patient advocate and ensure that the patients receive quality care by explaining medical and nursing procedures.The patients and their family members ahould be informed about the medical and nursing treatments planned for them.

3.As the patient is minor,the staff should inform about the treatment given to the patients parents,recall of the situation can be done and rectified by again explaining to them in detail and not to forget to the signatures of parents on the consent forms.

4.Care of the patient will not be affected much in this process.
