Answer #1

One ethical dilemma I have come across is in my workplace only. The physician we have can't walk as he has an amputed leg. So he has to take vicodin as pain killer. He is a genius diagnostician but he is able to solve the cases only when he takes vicodin but ethically a doctor is allowed to do his practice when he is on vicodin. One patient came with a cancer but the symptoms were little tricky and it was difficult to diagnos it. Our doctor did not have vicodin and went to the pharmacy store and along with the patient's drugs he stole it the vicodin but still the patient died. But he has solved many cases when he was on vicodin but ethically it is not allowed when a person is on vicodin and this is an ethical dilemma.

Some companies track employees via company-issued GPS-enabled smartphones and monitor employees’ behaviour through social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Currently, there are no laws preventing companies from monitoring and tracking employees. Companies believe not monitoring these platforms leaves them vulnerable to misconduct. For instance, the internet increased the number of distractions in the workplace, and some employees...

6. Ethical Dilemma #3 When a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 crashed over Iowa, a subsequent investigation suggested that the plane’s hydraulic systems did not provide enough protection. The DC10 had three separate hydraulic systems, all of which failed when an engine exploded. The engine threw off shreds of metal that severed two of the lines, and the third line required power from the demolished engine that was no longer available. The DC-10, unlike other commercial jets, had no shutoff valves that...
