According to Davis let's see the seven steps

1. Always describe about the problem. Clearly state what is the problem
2. Try to find out facts to solve it.Most problem had solution in it itself
3. Relevant factors associated with the problem has to be identified
4. Then prepare a list
5. Then test the listed one(harm test, publicity test,defensibility test,reversibility test,colleague test,professional and organizational test
6. Now make choices to get solution.
