Protein is important for exercise It improves performance as it increases glycogen storage in muscles and promote muscle repair after exercise

Fat is storage form of lipids and it is also a very good source of energy during exercise it increases endurance as it requires less oxygen and releases more energy than carbohydrate

Mineral like sodium and potassium have significant role in body for propogation of nerve signals they are required for muscle contraction and heart rhytm

Vitamins checks the free radicals produced during exercise and protects the damage of cells from free radicals

Water makes up the 70%of body weight it provides media for all types of metabolic reactions in the body

Dehydration during exercise can lead to muscles cramps and fatigue
