Explain the Process of immunosuppression and the effect it has on body systems.

Immunosuppression Process can be described as the deliberate adminstration of drugs such as azathoprine , rapamycin etc or the administration of specific antibody by using irradiation,it's reduce immune reactivity in recepient of organ or bone marrow allotransplant . Also in patient with acquired immune defficiency syndrome in which the helper inducer ( CD4) T cells are destroyed by the HIV -1 virus, the immune response can also be weaken. Immunosuppressant is also association with immunologic tolerance. Effects of immunosuppression on the body : it can result in serious risk of infections.when the immune system is weaken by the drugs,the body becomes less resistant to infection.
