Answer #1

Environment topic

Environment topic is defined as the issues which are present in our environment. Nowadays we are facing lots of issues in our environment. Some of the issues are deforestation, pollution, soil erosion, green house effect, etc.

I selected the topic water pollution as an environment issue.

Water pollution is the pollution or contamination of the waterbodies due to the misuse of human beings. Water will not get contaminated by itselves. It is only because human being are contaminating the water bodies by throwing wastes into the rivers, lakes and seas. Dumbing inorganic factory wastes, chemical substances, in the sea and other water bodies. The main water pollutants include bacteria, viruses, pesticides, faecal wastes, radio active substances, fertilisers, nitrates and parasites.

I selected this topic because, I think water pollution can be a great danger to our future generations. For our future generations, we should conserve drinking water and also make our water bodies neat and clean to prevent them from diseases. Polluted water is toxic , that cannot be drunk and it also causes diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, typhoid and desentery.

Water is one of the essential requirement in our day to day life. Without water , we cannot live for days. So conservation of water is an important point to be considered by every individual. The causes of water pollution include cutting of trees( deforestation), Fecal water dumbing in the oceans, pollution of plastic in the ocean, etc.

If we reduce the human activities that pollutes the environment and plant more trees, we can reduce the water pollution to an extend.

The one thing we should know about water pollution is that: every year, more people die from unsafe water than from all forms of violence including war. So we should conserve drinking water as well as our waterbodies to reduce the death rates resulting from water pollution. It is the duty of each and every one of us to keep our environment clean and protect our environment from these deadly issues.
