Modern nursing care has been called a mixture of traditional nursing and advanced health care technology. 1. The computer is one of the most applications used in nursing, for timekeeping, to order medications or supplies, and for research and email. Electronic medical records are popular in some health insititution.2.Monitoring systems like fetal monitors, which shows heart rate of fetal, heart monitors for electrical rhythm, and pattern of heart rates. Vital sign machine that measures blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Other monitoring systems measure the pressure inside heart or brain or the amount of oxygen in patients' blood. 3. Intravenous devices help to control the flow and sound an alarm if the line becomes kinked or plugged and also warns if the IV bag is getting empty. 4. The use of barcoding and scanners are used for safe medication administration. These technologies are not available to everyone but still, it has more benefits. We hope everyone should benefit from these technologies in future and it is a big innovation in nursing.
