When you try to attend any interview for a new health science professional, first of all you must always try to make a good impression. Employers look for health science professional that they can trust with the lives of their clients. Practicing for your interview can ensure that your knowledge, patience and desire to help people show your strength as a candidate.

RESUME: Make a valid resume including all your academics and experience details. Your resume or CV are simply tools to get you to the interviewing stage. Keep in mind that employers don't tend to interview candidates they don't feel are qualified for the job. Highlight your skills and abilities, it is equally important not to misrepresent who you are or what you can or are willing to do.

TYPES OF INTERVIEWS

Phone Interviews
Upon receipt of a candidate's application materials some organizations will call to conduct a brief phone interview. It is important to remain composed if you get such a call.

Screening Interviews
These are usually shorter interviews (30 minutes approximately) used for the purpose of conducting a brief evaluation of a candidate. Employers are usually looking for reasons to screen an applicant out.

One-on-One/Group Interviews
These interviews are quite common and involve the candidate being questioned by one person.

Introductory

Interviewer will ask you to introduce yourself first. Give a brief introduction of yourself starting from name, address, family, qualifications, experience, your achievements, and hobby etc.in short.

Academics qualifications and experience:

Questions related to your academic qualifications and experienced will be asked. Few points to keep in mind while answering are try to answer the best you can and show politeness, honesty ,reasonability, to the point , never make assumptions, never lie about the things you don’t have or you do not have experience.

Documents to carry:

Carry all your necessary documents of academics and experience certificates both in xeroz form and original copy. Never forget to carry passport size photo also.

Accomplishments/Achievements:

If you have accomplishment that you most proud of, mention in brief that will impressed the interviewer.

Knowledge of Organization/Industry:

Know about the organisation.

Why did you select or what attracts you to this organisation might ask you so prepare for that. Do a little research on the organisation if you don’t know anything about.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Try to bring mutual agreement about the salary range you are expecting.

For teaching health science professional

If you are going for interview of health science professional teaching, they might ask you to take a class and they will assess your performance or they will ask to demonstrate a procedure/steps to assess your skills/knowledge. So make the class simple,easy and interesting to students.
