The ICF (intracellular fluid) is the fluid within cells, The interstitiial fluid is the part of the ECF between the tissues,in intracellular fluid ICF most of the cytol is water which makes 67% of the total volume. the water composition in extracelluular fluid is 26%.

The fluid move from the intravascular space in to the interstetial or third space the non functional are between the cells, this is called third spacing,the extracellular fluid is involved in third spacing.

The causes are low iron intake,hypo calcemia,renal diseases,burnes,hypothyroidism.
