Rheumatic heart disease that is also known as RHD specificaly is a condition where the heart valves specificaly will be damaged permanently by the rheumatic fever that occur in the individual . The heart valve damage will usually initiate very shortly after the untreated or the under-treated streptococcal infection in the individual that can be the strep throat or the scarlet fever. The individual will have immune response which will causes an inflammatory condition in the individual body that will result in the on-going valve damage of the heart .

SYMPTOMS

It usually will start 1 week after the strep throat. .

Fever will be the main symptom in the individual

Swollen joint will occur

Tenderness will occur

Red as well as extremely painful joints will occur in the individual

Occurance of Nodules will take place  

Red as well as , raised, lattice-like rash will occur in th individual that is , usually on the chest
