Answer #1

Answer: The shelter in place planat assisted living facility means finding safe place in the shelter indoors and staying there until all clear sign is not given. The use of the shelter in plan place at assisted living facility is important because people or the patients living in the assisted living facility are dependent on the care givers to meet all their daily needs and demands. They require support as they are dependent and unable to perform their own work. So, in the case of the emergency such as disaster, they won't be able to quickly relocate themselves. But they can easily find the safest place at the indoors itself. In most of the time evacuation is not easy or not possible. Hence at this condition, the shelter in plan could be beneficial for them to safeguard. It provides safety in case of major disaster.
