why are apps used to manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and other chronic diseases? What features do you most like or dislike and why?  Do you find it helpful for patients? Reliable? Easy to use?  How might it be improved?

Answer: The use of the technology and health devices reduces the risk of severity or complications of the disease. Some of the apps that are being used to monitor and manage the chronic diseases such diabetes and hypertension. These apps and devices reduces the risk of complications. It enable patients to monitor the level and range and consume foods accordingly. For example in the case of the low sugar levels, patient can easily monitor and consume sugar to maintain the blood glucose level at the time. The same follows in the case of the hypertension where increased blood pressure can be controlled by taking instant medicine.

These apps and the health devices has reduced the health disparities. It increases the treatment efficiency as well as lowers the risk. With the help of these healthcare devices, the patients can easily manage their disease and can maintain a healthy state of mind. These applications enables the weight management. It keeps patients on the track.

Although most of the patients find it difficult to use this devices and applications. But once they get used to it, it provides them platform to manage their health conditions. The apps should have easy access, simple features which can make user friendly.
