  • Makerbot 3D printer has a input part which allows plastic filament to enter, it is at the top.
  • This printer generally uses FDM (Fused deposition Modelling) method,where plastic filament is melted to 215 degree Celsius and extruded through small nozzle.

Steps to get 3D printed object..

  1. First step is to create 3D file of required object on 3D software like CAD,CATIA,SolidWorks.Or one can click image of an object and make 3D file of it.
  2. This step is to convert 3D file to the language which accepted by the printer.This is also known as slicing.
  3. Last,step is to get the print.
