In your opinion where does automobile companies and ride sharing go from here and into the future and why? Write 3-4 paragraphs .

Automobile industry and share riding are at a standtill at the moment considering the global pandemic in the world. While the safety precautions are necessary , and there is no clear end date envisaged, as of yet, there is a need to reinvent the business model in these industries.

With respect to manuacturing of motor cars, there is a need to spend more efforts, in making cars that run more on renewable energy. Electric cars, photovoltaic cells etc need to be explored in much further detail , since this is a great excuse to put the best brains on the job, to ensure the environmental impacts of the fossil fuels are minimized. This has become a sort of breather for the atmosphere, and hence renewable energy is the go to.

Also, with respect to share riding companies, there needs to be better safety features to win back the trust of customers across the globe. For instance, the drivers need to ensure that the car is properly sanitized, and insist on a certain level of hygiene from the users as well. Since covid-19 is a droplet spread disease, there needs to be sufficient desanitization efforts after each trip. This way the spread can be controlled, and the risk of another major pandemic can be averted at best humanly possible.
