(A) Define the interpolation and the decimation. When they are used in signal processing. Give an examples of the applications.
(B) Define the following terminologies: noise, interference, and jamming.
A) Interpolation and the decimation are importatnt for digital signal processing. Interpolation is used for increase sampling rate in the system while decimation isused to reduce sampling rate in the system. When we require high sampling rate then we use Interpolation and to down sampling rate we use Decimation. It minimise cost for system.Examples are it is used in band pass filters. FIR Filters
B) Noise=> Noise is unwanted signal present in system because of which system not giving desired response.
Interference => Interference is signal distorted while travelling from one location to another location.
jamming => jamming stops total communication of signal, because of this there is problem for sending signals
