Answer the following: What does the level at which info is processed determine?
Chunking can be conceptualised as a type of strategy to store greater amounts of information in short-term memory. Since the short-term memory can hold only a limited amount of information (7 +/- 2 items), chunking can be used to increase its capacity. The process involves reducing long strings of information that can be difficult to remember down into shorter, more manageable chunks.
